If butterflies don’t fly

The silk moth (Bombyx Mori) is a butterfly from whose cocoon silk is spun. A video documents the attempt to teach a silk butterfly to fly. It is an attempt at impossibility. The butterfly‘s natural ability to fly has been lost as a result of the industrial mass production of silk and the associated domestication, overbreeding and incest.
