5 x form

I rolled five times 12 kg of clay to a thickness of 1-2 cm. This ‚base‘ is the startingpoint from which I let it ‚fall‘ into different shapes. Due to the natural inertia of the still fresh clay, the mass wants to slump. A single movement determines the shape, which is then irreversible and barely changeable. Time plays an essential role. Because the material is in motion. By burning, the shape becomes rigid. The process is finished. Only the shape itself allows conclusions about its origin.
